Day Five- Something you hope to do in your life.

I made a list years ago.

  • Get married in the same church as my parents
  • Touch a cloud
  • Be in two places at once
  • Find true love (hahahahahaha)
  • Change the life of a child
  • See my grandpa again
  • Have my own children
  • Return to Europe especially Italy
  • Visit every state in the U.S.A
  • Look down at the Grand Canyon
  • Take a cruise
  • Research my past
  • Create a family tree
  • Save someone’s life
  • Witness a miracle
  • Stay at a five star hotel
  • Go to a Superbowl
  • Go to a Stanley Cup
  • Go to a Shakespeare Festival
  • Kiss the Blarney Stone
  • Drink a pint in Dublin
  • Get a Spa Treatment that requires a team
  • Visit NYC during every season
  • See the Changing of the Guard
  • Travel to India

Some of those thing still have significance but seem so unimportant and material.  Yet now. Today. I want to:

Rediscover my love for dance. & never forget it again.

Publish my book that I have been working on for years.

Hear myself laugh more.

Move on. Cry less.

  1. Haha, I was reading the first list and thought: those are great but wait, I thought she would dig deeper for this one. And then I saw the updated one :) More streamlined, focused, and true to yourself.

  2. That is a great list. And there's so much to be accomplished yet.

  3. I love your lists. The second one seems more truthful. I hope you can do it all one day :D

    Keep your head up :)

  4. I cannot say this enough, I am loving these posts seriously! Loved both the lists, even though the second one was more "you", the first one seems like the way to achieve it. Also, you have to let me know when you come down to India, coz' I will be waiting here, with a superb Saree :)

  5. while I agree with most of the above that the second one seems more deep, more like you, i like the first one because it's almost naive in a way. i don't know how to describe it. it's just a lot about the simpler things we all dream of as children.

btw, i think you should cross two more off your first list. you saved your own life, and that's important enough to cross that one off.
and, have you ever walked in the fog? fog is just a really really low lying cloud. if you have, not only have you touched a cloud, you've had a cloud embrace you.
